If the House passes Senate Joint Resolution 1, already passed by a bipartisan majority of the Senate, Hoosier voters would have the opportunity in 2010 to vote on whether to permanently include the caps in the Indiana Constitution. The property tax caps would limit bills to 1 percent of the property’s assessed value for homesteads, 2 percent for residential rental property and farmland and 3 percent for other business property.

* While Democratic lawmakers downstate argue the tax cap is secure without having to be placed in the constitution, Harper disagreed, pointing out how the same group recently voted to do away with public referendums on public building projects. That move shows how quickly any property tax relief can be done away with if not locked into the constitution, he said.

Finally end this question of eligibility.  The actual certificate of live birth showing exactly where he was born (hospital etc.)  College records showing he was not enrolled as a foreign student.  All passports.  Records of name changes.  These all need to be presented NOW!

Even if all are finally unsealed, that still leaves the Supreme Court of The United States (SCOTUS) to do their job.  That is to enforce the  Constitution of the United States.  As the dismissed case of Leo Donofrio pointed out :  he is not a “NATURAL BORN CITIZEN” according to our Constitution.  He was born with dual citizenship and that fact makes him NOT eligible!!!

A high-powered team of Los Angeles attorneys representing President Obama in his effort to keep his birth certificate, college records and passport documents concealed from the public has suggested there should be “monetary sanctions” against a lawyer whose clients have brought a complaint alleging Obama doesn’t qualify for the Oval Office under the Constitution’s demand for a “natural born” citizen in that post.

The suggestion came in an exchange of e-mails and documents in a case brought by former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others in California. The case originally sought to have the state’s electors ordered to withhold their votes for Obama until his eligibility was established. Since his inauguration, it has been amended to seek a future requirement for a vetting process, in addition to the still-sought unveiling of Obama’s records. …

When he is not out pricing arugula & wagyu beef he is continuing to be the Puppet of the Democratic party. 

WTF did this person without any experience get elected in the first place?  I see it as way too many were upset with GWB and with him of course the Republican party.  A ‘we’ll show you’ attitude.  Add to that the hypnotic-like trance (kool-aid drinking) hold on so many people.  That I will NEVER  understand.  Some call it charisma – it is narcissism.

I had written to my State Rep before and have not heard from him since I wrote back to him  :

I received your reply to my email and it was the response I expected…  

 You state that the Constitutional requirements for the Presidency have been met by Mr. Obama.  He has sent lawyers repeatedly into court to have cases dismissed rather than provide the requested proof.  His campaign release of his birth certificate did not prove anything except that a birth certificate was paid for in Hawaii.  Under Hawaiian law, it is possible (both legally and illegally) for a person to have been born out of state, yet have a birth certificate on file in the Department of Health.  (Yes, they said there is one on file but did not release any information about what it said – “Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.”)  This, is not “his Certification of Live Birth” as you state.  As you know, they are not the same – a birth certificate does not list all information such as what hospital etc. (seems no hospital in the state has any records and at least twice, his sister stated different hospitals)  (“Granny Sarah” in Kenya stated she was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born but now all records and information in Kenya have been sealed)  The family needs to get their stories straight!  (That doesn’t even count Gov. Richardson saying that he was a foreigner then withdrawing from his future post…)

Even if it is taken at face value that he was actually born in Hawaii, his own website states that when he was born, Kenya was a British colony and Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by the British Nationality Act of 1948.  That same act also governed the status of his children.  Therefore he cannot be considered “natural born”. 

Yes, the Supreme Court has dismissed numerous petitions and is continuing to do so.  If the vault copy of his birth certificate had been disclosed in the first case, Berg v. Obama, and it was established he was born in Hawaii, which would have constituted res judicata, and acted to stop other similar lawsuits being filed.  Strategically from a legal standpoint, therefore, his refusal to disclose doesn’t make sense.  Weighing factors such as costs, resources, and complexity of disclosing versus not disclosing, he must have reason of considerable downside in disclosing, or upside in not disclosing.  Could facts be derived from his vault copy birth certificate inconsistent with the life story he has told (and sold)?

Energizing his supporters by appearing a ‘victim’ to manipulate public opinion?  His motion to dismiss the Berg case for lack of standing could be viewed as contemptuous of the Constitution.  (Seems he is expecting Americans to accept someone who hides behind lawyers and expects people to ‘just-trust-him’)  Unfortunately many are doing just that and the biased media has helped his cause all along!  (And those who did not stand up and respond to the Electoral College acceptance!)

There continue to be lawsuits against him, (Berg v. Obama, Lightfoot v. Bowen, Brockhausen v. Andrade, Keyes v. Obama, etc. are pending cases) and will continue to be lawsuits until he releases the vault version of his birth certificate. If it does state he was born in Hawaii, then it goes back to the issue of the British citizenship of his father.  There is no way around that fact if Sr. is listed as his father = not “natural born”.  That doesn’t even address the issue of when did the adopted Barry Soetero become Barack Obama (again) and how he was able to travel to a blacklisted country unless he had an Indonesian passport (as an adult).  Is that the reason his school records remain sealed? (Foreign student status?) 

The ‘right connections and money rules’ seems to be the answer when combined with the media hype and ‘Kool-Aid-drinking’ public! 

Top of his never-ending list of ‘first things’ to do should be taking that pesky ‘natural born’ clause out of the Constitution… (Though at the moment,  it seems that it is a mere formality easily over looked)

* I wonder, are tax payers going to be the ones paying for his lawyers after January 20?  If so, where can I vote against that?

** Well today brought even more interesting news – Mr. Biden & his wife were on Oprah and his wife Jill said that he was told he could be Vice President or Secretary of State – After the exchange aired on television three hours later, Biden spokeswoman Elizabeth Alexander denied Jill Biden’s account in a statement e-mailed to reporters.

“To be clear, President-elect Obama offered Vice President-elect Biden one job only — to be his running mate,” the statement said. “And the vice president-elect was thrilled to accept the offer.”

The news media seems to have left out the crime that was committed. 18 U.S. C 599: Whoever, being a candidate, directly or indirectly promises or pledges the appointment, or the use of his influence or support for the appointment of any person to any public or private position or employment, for the purpose of procuring support in his candidacy shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

 Seems that Mr. Obama is really full of, uh, surprises.

An interesting point of view:

The consequences for Obama are the least drastic and he gains the most benefits under the choice involving remaining silent and not producing his original birth certificate which is exactly what he has done to date. There are at least two reasons for this:

(1) To date, no court of law has been willing to accept any case challenging his “natural born Citizen” status. The courts have dismissed law suits against him for reasons of jurisdiction, standing, political question, justiciability, and for reasons unknown. These procedural obstacles have allowed him to escape having to defend the underlying merits of the claims against him which would necessarily involve his having to make declarations under oath as part of legal discovery and before the court itself in case of a trial. He will simply continue to pursue this procedural strategy, for being so successful will allow him to maintain his silence and not produce his original birth certificate with the cost to him personally of only having to pay his team of lawyers. This strategy explains why he is willing to spend enormous amounts of his own money and resources for his legal defense (maybe not even his own money if he can make a case that he can use his campaign contributions to meet the costs involved) and cause private individual plaintiffs and public institutions (courts and public entity defendants) to spend theirs with no end in sight. This strategy also provides great impetus to the sales of his past and future books, thereby further filling up his coffers. This strategy also explains why he is not willing to simply spend less than $100.00 and produce his original birth certificate for the benefit of those Americans who want to see it. Lastly, this strategy provides an answer to the question of, assuming that Obama in the end simply produces his original birth certificate which shows he was born in Hawaii, why would Obama risk the public then perceiving him as one who played a dirty little game for the sake of aggrandizing his own image and increasing his profits.

(2) Obama wants (i) people who simply voted for him, (ii) people who are apathetic to the eligibility issue or because of ignorance, fear, or self-ambition refuse to address it; and (iii) people who in good faith believe he is eligible to be President (these categories may overlap), to believe that all the law suits and internet chatter questioning eligibility to be President is political sour grapes, racism, or “tinfoil hat” conspiracy nonsense. These “explanations” for this outcry against him provide great camouflage for his silence and refusal to release his original birth certificate. This strategy limits any contempt backlash to only those who oppose him on the eligibility issue and to no one else, thereby greatly reducing the price associated with the public contempt component.

The benefits Obama gains from stonewalling compared to the price he has to pay for complete disclosure makes the choice to refuse to speak about where he was born and to produce his original birth certificate most attractive for Obama. The stakes are high in this game for the Office of President. Obama has shown that he has the arrogance and audacity to play the game any which way he wants simply to win that Office and greatly profit thereby. The question for many concerned Americans who doubt whether he is eligible to be President is what they can do to get the nation’s political, legal, and social institutions to adequately and honestly investigate and decide whether he is indeed qualified to be President. Obama’s strategy is now preventing these Americans from learning the truth about whether he is eligible to be President. The ball is in the court of those who challenge Him.

I am sickened at the thought of the debt this country has undertaken today.  Those with sense voted NO on the so-called stimulus bill.  Unfortunately they were outnumbered by idiots. 

787 BILLION DOLLARS – 1,071 pages that NO ONE READ. 

House = 246-183                                 Senate = 60-38

Simply put,  306 A$$HOLES voted yes and signed on to a bill that they did not even have time (or inclination) to read. 

House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) was a true hero to the American people when he threw the massive bill on the floor – he should have shoved it up … (never mind). 

Spineless Democrats (plus three Republicans who have now chosen to end their careers) have screwed this country.  Pelosi, Reid, and that fraud elected as president are actually the people responsible for this.  Two puppetmasters and their campaigner extrodinaire. 

There are those who were embarrassed when he got elected and are now both vindicated in that and even more embarrassed by what this country has become.  Totally in debt to countries that those same people in DC look down on except when getting loans from. 

No E-Verify in that massive bill so even more jobs to illegals.  No removal of those illegals from this country in sight either.  On the other hand, lots more union jobs because the ‘elected one’ owes them for their major help getting him elected.  Buy American? NO, No, No – too many Unionized organizations use non-American products.  (steel etc.) 

Amazing, three weeks in office and has screwed us more than Bush could have (if he really really tried and wanted to) if he would have been in office another eight years !!!

Well Ft. Meyers, Florida was the next day and WOW you would think someone ‘planted’ these people in the audience…

*You know you cannot just “enter” an Obama town hall meeting. They give out tickets in advance. Who gets the tickets? People who stand in line and wait. Who tells people when and where Obama will appear next? Certainly not the Secret Service who has to protect this man. Not the MSM, who are too busy telling us how great he is without asking any critical questions.

Sooooo… how does a 61 year-old homeless woman who’s living in a pickup truck with her son JUST HAPPEN to get a ticket so she can VERY PUBLICALLY ask Prez. Obama for a HOUSE? Anyone? Who pushes her up on stage? She’s right at the front of the crowd. Did she just happen to get a seat there?

Now, within moments of this happening, it’s trumpeted all over the news. AND, surprise, surprise, the wife of State Representative Nick Thompson, Chene Thompson JUST HAPPENS to have a spare house worth $150,000 lying around, so she GIVES it to this unemployed, homeless, living-in-a-truck woman. They’ve been homeless for “more than a year”, which coincidentally, predates the current housing and banking crisis by quite a while. How did they learn about the “Obama Town Hall and Tent Revival”? Were homeless people simply rounded up? Did someone pre-canvas the area in search of “great, tear-jerking stories”? Of all the people in the audience, SHE’S one of the ones Obama chooses to ask a question?

BTW-the taxes which will be charged on this “free house” will bankrupt the poor woman. Taxes are levied based on the home’s assessed value, not on the basis of it being a “free gift”.

On a second, double-snort, the last guy who gets to ask a question JUST HAPPENS to be a 19-year-old kid of Hispanic descent who’s going to Edison State College (free tuition perhaps for in-state students?) and has worked at McDonalds for FOUR AND A HALF YEARS. By my math, he started working there when he was 14! Florida child-labor law infraction, anyone? Now, having worked at McDs several times in my past I can say that they DO offer health care plans. You have to PAY for it, just like everyone else in the country does. It’s OPTIONAL. It’s not a God-given right.

…Do the Thompsons get to claim this as a charitable tax deduction against their (probably) considerable 2009 income? How many houses do they own?
